Food Innovation Australia Ltd (FIAL), in collaboration with Austrade and State Government Agencies, will be hosting senior buyers from leading, high-end Asian and Middle Eastern supermarket chains, from 10-13 June. This presents a unique opportunity for Australian food and beverage (F&B) companies to capitalise on the high and rapidly growing consumer demand for safe, high quality and convenient food and beverages in Asia and the Middle East.
The deadline for applications for this rare opportunity is 28th May and is open to export-ready Australian F&B companies. The companies may either be new to these markets or already have a presence there. A list of the high-end supermarket buyers can be viewed below.

For an opportunity to present your products to these senior buyers, please complete the ‘Expression of Interest’ form below, by clicking on the link. The closing date for applications is 28th May 2014, so immediate action is essential. The 'Expression of Interest' form will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
The buyers will select the companies they would like to meet, from the Expression of Interest submissions. Those chosen will be notified on 2nd June 2014. Successful companies will need to be available for meetings with buyers on the following dates, depending on your location:
• Melbourne meetings will be held on Tuesday, 10th June from 9am till 12 midday
• Adelaide meetings will be held on Wednesday, 11th June from 9am till 12 midday
• Sydney meetings will be held on Thursday, 12th June from 9am till midday
• Brisbane meetings will be held on Friday, 13th June from 9am till midday
Applicants will also benefit from priority submissions for a future senior buyers delegation in September 2014. High-end supermarket chains from Japan, China, Thailand, Malaysia and UAE will be part of FIAL’s next inbound trade mission.
