MEET OUR SPEAKERS

Greg Sparkman Construction Director, Spark
With more than 45 years’ experience in the heavy civil industry, there’s very little that Greg Sparkman hasn’t seen or done.
Greg’s construction team will be one of the driving forces in helping to change the face of Melbourne’s north-east through the delivery of city-shaping infrastructure.
Greg’s has been involved in the delivery of many high-profile PPP projects including EastLink, CityLink and the Metro Tunnel Project.

Jackie Aggett Commercial Director, Spark
A resolute senior executive with proven commercial acumen and more than 30 years’ success at the forefront of multi-billion-dollar infrastructure projects throughout Australia, Jackie has provided commercial and project management oversight, governance, strategy and financial management to the start-up and close-out of large-scale complex projects for global leaders.
During her career, she has been accountable for providing commercial leadership and strategic guidance for the management of D&C, construct only, PPP, MC, incentivised target cost, alliance and delivery partner contracting models.

Joe Piasecki Social Procurement Manager, Spark
Joe has a diverse and different background ranging from working in remote communities across the Pilbara, Kimberly in WA and the VRD region in the NT, to being a shift fitter and turner in major industry with Rio Tinto in Gladstone, QLD. He has also lived in Submarines in the Royal Australian Navy, which he did for nine years as an engineering manager. He finally landed in construction and spent the last three years with LXRP, before coming across to Spark NEL in January. He loves to be creative with solutions and draws inspiration from his diverse experience to produce genuine social outcomes and thrives on the challenge to be innovative.

Rebecca Lee Senior Social Procurement Adviser, ICN Victoria

Rebecca Lee is the Principal Social Procurement Adviser at ICN Victoria. Her work with ICN Victoria encompasses three years in the Local Jobs First Policy team, and she now brings this experience in policy implementation to the Social Procurement Framework.
Rebecca has experience in driving effective policy implementation and compliance from her previous role as Policy Compliance Team Leader. She has aspirations for social and sustainable procurement practices and looks forward to applying her background in Women and Gender studies to the Building Equality Policy program for ICN Victoria.

Andrew Bradley Senior Industry Liaison, ICN Victoria

Having joined ICN Victoria in 2007 as Grampians Regional Manager, Andrew is currently the Senior Industry Liaison, a position that is crucial to delivering the state government’s Local Jobs First Policy. Andrew has played a lead role in helping to deliver ICN services to many major projects. Maintaining and improving the level of Australian businesses with onshore operations acts as one of Andrew’s key motivators, which in turn involves regularly bringing together project owners, buyers, and suppliers from across the state. Andrew’s career commenced in the UK working for a Builders Merchants Group which lead to spending time living and working in Jordan and Qatar in the same field. A year working as Export Manager for Johnson Tiles in the UK was followed by a move to Australia with the same company. A subsequent move to Ballarat to work at Eureka Tiles as National Sales Manager and then as Export Manager for Athlegen has ensured that Andrew well and truly calls Ballarat home.
